Voyager 2 is the first spacecraft ever recorded to have gone to Neptune, but in tough conditions. Neptune suffers some of the most solar weather in all the solar system. Not to mention the famous dark spot which (said by the voyager 2) is big enoughô to in gulf the entire earth. Neptune is apart of our solar system the 8th planet to be priciest. Neptune currently holds 13 moons orbiting around it. The axis of Neptune is pointed on a 47 degree angle causing so much terrible weather. Orbiting some what close is the ice giant Uranus which is also the "sister" of Neptune.but unlike Uranus Neptune has nine rings around it, the names of the rings are galle, leverrrier, lassell, adams, arago, liberte, egalite, courage, fraternite. Arago is the least known ring of all
Neptune is also the 8th planet from the sun making it the last not counting Pluto, and also making it the second coldest in our solar system. But going to Neptune takes the voyager twelve years to get to there (for the voyager). Neptune cannot support life as we know it because of the extreme solar weather and also the angle of the axis.

At times the dwarf planet pluto can actually be CLOSER to the sun than Neptune actually making Pluto warmer than Neptune at that time.
this probably caused by the egg-like shape of the planet Neptune. Neptune's rings and moons are named after Ancient Greek gods and nymphs just like the planets.

Neptune is made up of various types of gases like water (h 2 o), ammonia (Nh 3) and methane (ch 4). Also Neptune's atmosphere is made up of helium (he) hydrogen (h2) and methane (ch 4). Making it impossible to get any type of probe or space ship through the atmosphere and if the probe did go through the probe would not make it through the incredible solar winds and storms.
